The Fate of Green Energy Boondoggles:

Posted by Bryan Treadway on Saturday, September 8, 2018, In : History In Current Events

Remember all the $zillions of our money Obama threw at his cronies while laundering the loot with economically absurd green energy boondoggles? With all the money that was spent, the economy should be running on wind and sun by now. Yet we continue to rely on energy sources that are reliable. A story from Minnesota is emblematic of the fate of government-subsidized wind turbines:

A failed wind turbine at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center will be torn down. …

Sooo..... Al Sharpton Can’t Spell Respect:

The termites who have been gnawing away at the foundations of the country have no respect. They deserve no respect.  Some of them can’t even spell respect:

Al Sharpton invoked his late friend and legendary singer Aretha Franklin, who died at the age of 76, and her iconic version of the song “Respect”…

During a segment in which he critiqued Trump’s usage of the word “dog” to criticize [Omarosa] Manigault-Newman, Sharpton said, “In the words of my late friend Aretha F...

To achieve obvious advantages, Terry Gilliam of Monty Python now identifies as a black lesbian so as to qualify as oppressed:

Gilliam was commenting on the row over diversity triggered by the BBC’s unveiling of its new comedy programming, announced in June, at which the BBC’s controller of comedy commissioning Shane Allen emphasised the corporation’s commitment to “the stories that haven’t been told and the voices we haven’t yet heard”. American Media, Soviet Tactics:

Posted by Bryan Treadway on Sunday, July 8, 2018, In : History In Current Events

American media has become thoroughly dominated by politically driven progressives. Consequently, it heavily distorts information, employing the same tactics as Pravda did in the USSR.

No Russian would take the propaganda in Pravda at face value. James O’Keefe of Project Veritas notes that the same is increasingly true regarding Americans and the liberal establishment media:

China Solidifies Military Positions For New Push Against Taiwan:

The relationship between the small island nation of Taiwan and the People’s Republic of China has been unstable and tense for many decades. The tension between the two countries stems from the result of the Chinese Civil War in 1949.
However, there are fresh concerns that those tensions may be escalating to the point of conflict and the US has good reason to be concerned.

Much of that has to do with Chinese President and General Secretary of the Communist Party Xi Jinping, who has take...

Walter Williams: Why the Founders Did Not Want a Democracy

Young Master Hogg informs us that dumb grownups don’t know how to make our f’-ing democracy work, so it is time to put the children in charge. Grownups have apparently failed to inform him that America is not a democracy; it is a republic. That is why it is still relatively free all these years after its founding. Walter Williams could fill some of the gaps in his education:

To help define “whiteness,” Dionne instructed the student attendees to chant “imperialist, capitalist, white supremacist patriarchy,” a phrase originating from feminist and self-avowed socialist bell hooks,...

White Students Wear Pins to Signify Their Racial Shame

Posted by Bryan Treadway on Saturday, February 18, 2017, In : History In Current Events

The last time a society imposed identity politics on such a rigid basis, Jews wore yellow stars and homosexuals wore pink triangles. Now that whites are the group targeted for blame, what should they wear? The answer on one campus is white puzzle piece pins:
Students at Elizabethtown College this month are wearing white pins in the shape of puzzle pieces to remind them of their white privilege.
The campaign was launched over the weekend by the Elizabethtown College Democrats, who say it ai...

Virginia Candidate for Governor Defends History From Left Wing Totalitarians

CHARLOTTESVILLE — Republican gubernatorial candidate Corey Stewart came to this town to defend its statue of Robert E. Lee in a downtown park, only to be swarmed by dozens of protesters who shouted him down everywhere he went. …

A divided Charlottesville City Council’s decision last week to remove the statue of the Confederate general gave Stewart an opening to appeal to his base. On social media, he urged people to “defend Virginia’s heritage,” likening those who wanted to re...

Thomas Jefferson statue defaced at his own alma mater

The College of William & Mary, the second oldest institution of higher learning in the country, was the alma mater of some of the most important figures in American history. Yet none of its distinguished alumni is as admired or influential as Thomas Jefferson, the country’s third president and the author of the Declaration of Independence.

At least until now.

A statue of Jefferson at the school was defaced over the weekend.

The words “slave owner” were written nearby, and Jefferson’...

Teacher Forced Into Retirement Over Confederate Flag

The war of extermination against all things explicitly Southern is no longer in the headlines — yet it continues:

A teacher who displayed the Confederate flag to middle schoolers in his history class was forced to retire amid concerns that he was displaying a symbol of hate.

70-year-old Sutter Middle School (Folsom, CA) teacher Woody Hart hanged both a Confederate flag and a Union flag during his lesson on the Civil War.

The power of government to operate a monopoly over the use of force over a domain is derivative. It derives from the right of people to defend their own lives and property. Just because a government is formed does not mean that those rights are completely abrogated and delivered entire to the government – a person’s right to defend himself persists even though there is a government. If a policeman is present at the time of a threat of force – rarely the case – yes, the use of fo...

The council also voted to remove a statue placed in Forrest’s honor. The move came after Mayor A.C. Wharton called for the bodies to be dug up and relocated.

Tuesday’s vote is not the end of the story, however. According to WREG, the Chancery Court would also have to approve the removal of the re...

In response to constant egging on by the liberal establishment, sociopathic savages continue to vandalize symbols of Southern heroism:

A Civil War memorial statue at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill was found vandalized Sunday morning with the words “black lives matter.”

The statue, known as Silent Sam, was erected in 1913 as a monument to 321 alumni who died in the Civil War and students who joined the Confederate Army, according to the university’s website.

College Board Prepares Cultural Marxist Attack on American History

To fundamentally transform America into its opposite, social engineers must transform our conception of our nation. In part this is accomplished by rewriting history so that it supports the liberal narrative of evil white individualists (a.k.a. capitalists) oppressing saintly dark-skinned collectivists.

The College Board is preparing to release the final revision of its Advanced Placement examination for US history. This excerpt makes the objective clear:

Is something really big about to happen?

For months, people have been pointing to the second half of this year for various reasons.  For some, the major concern is Jade Helm and the unprecedented movement of military vehicles and equipment that we have been witnessing all over the nation.  For others, the upcoming fourth blood moon and the end of the Shemitah cycle are extremely significant events.  Yet others are most concerned about political developments in Washington...

The Einstein Letters, which include more than two dozen missives, will go up for sale Thursday at the California-based auction house Profiles in History. Some were in English and others in German. Some were done in longhand, ot...

A New World Order? Putin And Xi Put Friendship On Display

At first sight, things look very different now. When President Xi Jinping of China took pride of place next to Vladimir Putin of Russia on Saturday, they looked like any other modern world leaders: pragmatic men-in-suits, full of smiles, temporary possessors of power rather than dictators-for-life.

Back in 1949, when Chairman Mao Tse-tung paid his first visit to Moscow to celebrate Comrade Joseph Stalin's 70th Birthday, it was a paean of old-school Communism.

August 16th 1956, the typical clear blue California sky shone brightly.

At Point Mugu Naval air station, ground crews prepped an F6F-5K wildcat drone for it’s last flight ever. The Hellcat was painted high-visibility red and was rigged to be guided by remote control. The plane was to fly out over the vast pacific into a training scenario where the navy would blast it out of the sky for target practice. But the Hellcat had other ideas.

Shortly after 11:30 A.M. the Hellcat drone took off ...

This Week’s Sign the Apocalypse is upon us.

We’ve learned an invaluable lesson in our global community this week: that we’ve evolved beyond free speech.

For centuries, even the most enlightened minds in the world considered freedom of speech (and the proto-freedoms of conscience and thought) to be sacrosanct, too valuable to be infringed, and too essential to be gainsaid. For indeed, what ideas are so dangerous that they cannot even be freely discussed and debated in the search for ...

Creepy funeral home…

A funeral home that sold Lee Harvey Oswald's pine casket for $87,468 must return it to the accused presidential assassin's brother, a judge ruled Friday.

Robert Oswald had bought the pine bluff casket for his brother, whose body was exhumed in 1981 amid conspiracy theories that it did not contain Lee Harvey Oswald's body. After a Dallas hospital confirmed the body through dental records, it was reburied, but not in the original casket, which was too wat...

The decade-old memos offer the fullest public account of the Bush administration’s legal justification for the warrantless wiretapping of Americans, the Washington Post reported. The Justice Department released the documents to the ACLU Friday night.

Public's preoccupation with Bieber's personal life highlights decline of Western society
As NATO and Russia prepare for potential war, which could result in nuclear strikes and the death of millions, the public’s attention is not on Ukraine but rather on the personal life of pop singer Justin Bieber.

20 Reasons Why Thomas Jefferson Would Crush Obama And His Anti-American Ilk

Doug Giles Excerpt

How do I know Jefferson would loathe Obama and seek to jettison our Jester-In-Chief?  Well, it’s principally via Thomas’ musings — musings that, for the time being, we’re still afforded the wherewithal to access; principles that also happen to have made our nation great and that used to be taught in our school system.

Plow through the following from one of our nation’s illustrious framers’ quills and try to tell me with a straight face that Jefferson wouldn...

RELEVANT HISTORY: The Pilgrims Abandoned Socialism. Shouldn’t We?

Written by Karen Serna

While reading a book about the Pilgrims to my son (age 5) recently, I discovered that Plymouth Plantation was set up as a socialist/communist society. What?! This information was news to me. Not one history professor or high school teacher ever mentioned this. I was always told they came for religious freedom, but I never remember anyone teaching that the colony was run in a socialist fashion when it was birthed. And trust me, I was a good student. I didn’t miss ...

Fox News‘ Juan Williams’ recent racial comments make me wonder: Am I delusional or simply more observant than most? Is there a war on white people by certain sectors of our population? Blacks, liberal-leftists, Democrat politicians, progressives, and media types seem to associate almost everything that’s wrong in America and in the world with the dominant, American white race.

Human depopulation is the real agenda

In my last article I discussed the idea that much of what we are experiencing in this country can’t be considered a “conspiracy theory” anymore because it is actually happening. We are literally watching the world burn around us and every day there is another new, exciting development that only, in my mind anyways, reinforces the idea that it is all being done by design.

I discussed the fact that there are many individual incidents that at first glance appear to be isola...

Truthfully, there are a lot of scary things unfolding in the world around us and how anybody can ignore the notion that they could be unfolding by design, is in my opinion, plain foolishness. The fact of the matter is that there is nothing conspiratorial going on at all. The designers of this perfect storm are no longer hiding. They are telling y...

The State Department on September 25th described the piece on its “Virtual Embassy Tehran” web page as a 2,700-year-old artifact, calling it a “7th century BC silver griffin-sha...

The Real Father of Universal Healthcare – Adolf Hitler

Posted by Bryan Treadway on Friday, September 27, 2013, In : History In Current Events

Otto von Bismarck, the Chancellor of Germany, and the real power figure in the earlier dictatorship of the the German second Reich, started socialized healthcare in 1883 with the Reichsversicherungsverordnung or Reich Insurance Act. However, only certain segments of the society were insured at that time. It was Adolf Hitler, who actually imposed socialized healthcare on the entire German population, as a part of nazification of the healthcare industry. For that reason, Adolf Hitler shou...

American exceptionalism. That seems to upset Vladimir Putin. Good. In his op-ed in the New York Times last week, he said:

And I would rather disagree with a case he made on American exceptionalism stating that the United States’ policy is “what makes America different. It’s what makes us exceptional.” It is extremely dangerous to encourage people to see themselves as exceptional, whatever the motivation.

In this letter, Putin is behaving like an emotionall...

GOP Congressman Got Drunk & Arm-Wrestled Vladimir Putin to Decide Who Won the Cold War

Posted by Bryan Treadway on Sunday, September 15, 2013, In : History In Current Events

It seems that the Russians won the Cold War — at least according to a drunken agreement between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.).

You’re confused. Let’s start from the beginning.

In a new interview with KPCC-FM, Rohrabacher told the unbelievable story about the time he got drunk and arm-wrestled with Putin to decide who actually won the Cold War. The alleged match occurred in Washington, D.C., in the early 1990s. Putin was only the deputy mayor o...

Will US Policy On Syria Bring About The Genocide Of Syria's Christians?

Posted by Bryan Treadway on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, In : History In Current Events

U.S. policy towards Syria is bafflingly inconsistent. If U.S. leaders are so concerned about regimes slaughtering thousands of their own people, did they notice what just happened in Egypt?

If they are so exercised over about weapons of mass destruction, are they aware that Israel has two hundred nuclear warheads, with delivery systems? Will American warships in the region be making those other stops on their liberating mission?

Most puzzling of all, though, is why the United States seem...

The global economy is fragile, global stability is weak, the west is on the edge, it’s only a matter of time before it crumbles,” he said. “Iran will eventually lose any remaining restraint and go after Israel, Syria starts spilling across the border…  When it all falls apart and the west is so weakened, who puts it all back together again?”

America’s Impending Defeat in Syria

Posted by Bryan Treadway on Thursday, August 29, 2013, In : History In Current Events

By Barry Rubin

It’s really pretty simple. The American people understandably don’t want to go to war with Syria — not to mention with Syria’s patron, Iran — and especially not for the goal of putting the Muslim Brotherhood and murderous Islamists into power there. Going to war is a serious matter, to say the least. There’s no assurance how long it will take, how many lives it will cost, and what turns it may take. And the Middle East has just had several examples of these war...

U.S. Could Look Beyond UN Security Council in Syria

In the face of a UN Security Council deadlocked on Syria, the United States and its allies could seek other means of legitimizing any retaliatory strike they launch against Syria's government for last week's alleged gas attack on civilians.

The 15-nation council has been split on Syria since 2011. Russia, President Bashar Assad's ally, and China have vetoed three resolutions condemning Assad and calling for punitive steps against his government.

But the United States has intervened in con...

How Common Core Poses Serious Problems for the Future of the Republic

You’ve heard about it, and over the coming months it’ll be in the news even more as new parts of it continue to unfold. Common Core is something that is not going away, even though it sure needs to.

Common Core poses “serious problems for the future of the Republic” for several reasons, just one of which is that children may no longer be taught cursive handwriting.  Since almost all of America’s founding documents are written in cursive, that means they will be dependent on the...

The Rise Of The Bear: Signs That Russia Is Rapidly Catching Up To The United States

The Russian Bear is stronger and more powerful than it has ever been before. Sadly, most Americans don't understand this. They still think of Russia as an "ex-superpower" that was rendered almost irrelevant when the Cold War ended. And yes, when the Cold War ended Russia was in rough shape.

I got the chance to go over there in the early nineties, and at the time Russia was an economic disaster zone. Russian currency was so worthless that I joked that I could go exchange a 20 dollar bill...

Is Obama at War With the American People?

A great Churchill quote came to mind recently, and with all the “phony scandals” as a backdrop, I was struck by an unsettling notion.  Is Obama at War?

The Churchill buffs may know where this is going, but for everyone else, here is the quote.  “In wartime, the truth is so precious that she must be attended by a bodyguard of lies.”

In fact, even without remembering those first two words, it was still clear that the bodyguard of lies was intended to deceive his enemies...

That's a very difficult thing to put a number on, but thanks to a survey conducted by the U.S. Government, we now have conclusive data on the number of idiots in America. The survey, taken on November 6, 2012, included nearly 130 million participants. The results were disappointing, to say the least. The survey revealed that at least 51% of the populace are undeniably idiots. Recognizing we have a problem is the first step to recovery.

The 8 Worst Riots in American History

Riots have made a huge mark on American history. Whether incited by racial conflicts, perceived injustices, or police brutality, a riot can cause such destruction that it blights the landscape and destroys burgeoning progress in an area.

This fabulous new technology was affectionately referred to as the information highway.
